Asheville BookWorks began BookOpolis in 2005 as "A World of Books Exhibition" to showcase the wide variety of bookarts projects happening in our region. Each year BookOpolis has grown in scope and has become truely worldly with submissions from outside our region and country. The spirit of BookOpolis has remained the same - a chance to see, touch and experience bookarts.
